International Recording Artist Mad Bwoy.

Fedrick "Mad Bwoy" Manderson, he was born and raised in Kingston Jamaica. He grew up listening to the sounds of Reggae, Hip-Hop and R&B music by legendary artists like Bob Marley, Beres Hammond, Michael Jackson, Bounty Killer and R. Kelly. As he got older he began to listen to everything from the Bee Gee's to Biggie Smalls and Tupac, which continue to inspire him.

As a child in Jamaica, Mad Bwoy spent a great deal of time in the studio with his brother, music producer and artist, Cush Hunta. Under his brother’s guidance Mad Bwoy began recording demos and developing his own unique sound. In 2005 Mad Bwoy took a leap of faith and migrated to America, Queens N.Y. His was determined to pursue his dream in the music industry. It wasn’t until 2006 when he moved to New Hampshire, where he started to focus on his music career, while working hard balancing a steady paying job at the same time.

He recorded his first vocal at a small in house studio, at is friend house, Mitch Green.  As Mad Bwoy’s career developed, he began to record 3 songs a week. At the time, he was more of a gangster rapper, but as time went by he toned down his lyrics so they were more “people friendly” to appeal to the mass majority. Today, his genre is diverse representing pop, reggae/dancehall/roots w/hip hop & r&b in the mix, becoming more marketable in all demographic regions & mainstream.

Mad Bwoy released his first mix tape in the summer of 2007 entitled “KING OF 603,” which was hosted by the renowned DJ 4iegn of Renegade Sound Station. “KING OF 603” has helped Mad Bwoy get featured on many radio stations including Jam’n 94.5, 88.9 WERS, and 87.9 The Beat. This expedited exposure on mainstream websites and articles, as well as the Jamaican Star in 2008. Mad Bwoy has thrived off of his last album “Mr. She Like It,” which was released in November of 2009. He has also been featured on mix tapes worldwide including Futurist Drop with DJ Weedim from Straightup Sound. He has been a part of Jammin High with DJ Bus High, also from Straightup Sound, as well as Pon Di Corner with DJ Alexbadman and DJ Sesilover from Irie Soldiers Sound.

He released his new album/mix-tape “Best Kept Secret" on January 27th 2012.  Some of the songs included are: “She Like It,” “Romance,” and his  new singles “Favorite Song,” and “My Heart Keep Falling,” These two songs have already started to draw attention from fans, clubs & radio stations globally throughout early 2013, such as, but not limited to: Germany (Top 40 Germany Connection, via (Easy Peasy), YuHRadio Italy (Top 10), 87.9The Beat, Jam’n945, 88.9 WERS, WZBC RaggaMuffinIntl, via Robin’s prime Saturday program, Jamaica, Costa Rica (DJ Chrome), Q103Maui, etc. There will be collaborations with artists like Nawlage, Music Notes, Wily & more! His Rhianna remix “Man Down” & Gregroy Isaacs “Rumors” as well as single “Favorite Song” remains a hit in Hawaii Clubs & highly requested on Q103Maui. Bob Marley’s “Legalize It” is now receiving exposure globally. MadBwoy’s videos were produced by the notable SEV-ONE Films, Lamboise, to name a few.

Mad Bwoy continues to perform at venues around New England, Baltimore, New York, Jamaica, Hawaii, etc. and continues to headline at popular venues across the country. He has performed with notable artists like: Shaggy, Beenie Man, Lady Saw, Serani, Gyptian, Beres Hammond, Marquis, Indian, Eloquence, Dynasty, Greece Kartell, Nawlage, Eli, Cush Hunta, Baby Cham, Suri, Illijah, Raspy, Unity/Kwaaba, Saga AP, Sicka, Bosie Owly, Shandelair, Hard Drive, Kaliraps, David Child, Mighty Mystic, Dayne Donovan, Root 95, Dezey Coyotee & many more.
